Halfway Hotel - Essex

Staying at Halfway in Essex proved good. The large, clean rooms with comfy beds made returning from Glacier Park each day a relief.

The hotel's location was remote, very close to the West Glacier entrance at a significantly cheaper price than the hotels in the park. Spent our evenings in nearby Wilmingtonvillage Pub enjoying drinks and atmosphere. Our a double room was brand-new with a bed. The food served was exceptional!

Fairly quiet and reasonably spacious room with 2 double or queen beds and TV and a futon as expected. Lovely old and quiet little hotel in a FAVOURABLE setting to glacier.

This place is all about adventure with a fire ring, charcoal grill, and a cozy porch. Our stay was a highlight!

It was the perfect base for exploring the area. The nearby skiing spots were a blast, and we loved the convenience of the onsite store for supplies. The price was unbeatable, and the owners. We definitely plan to come back next time we're in the area.

One night, we noticed the sound of trains could be a bit disruptive, but it didn't ruin our overall experience.

Clean room with a tv and free Wi-Fi. Parking was tight.

Halfway Hotel offers a warm, cozy atmosphere with clean rooms. We loved the complimentary wi-fi and the proximity to Glacier National Park. The convenience of having picnic tables outside made our meals so much more enjoyable.

The cleanliness of the room and the cozy atmosphere enhanced our stay with our big family.

For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly dining options nearby.

Just a commendable fit for a trip in Essex with excellent value for money. They provided a hair dryer right at check-in, really helpful after a long day. Be sure to bring your own coffee supplies for the morning.

Just a solid selection for a weekend break in Essex with value for price. The large, clean room made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Stock up on snacks at the onsite store before heading out!

Can't recommend highly enough for a flying visit

Spacious room, convenient amenities, great location, the large, freshly cleaned room had a cozy queen bed and a microwave, easy to warm up snacks after a full day of exploring, and the quick 30-minute drive to both entrances of the national park was perfect for our itinerary.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location is perfect for accessing both entrances to the park. The store onsite is convenient for picking up essentials. Despite these minor inconveniences, the spacious and clean room were nice.

I loved sitting on the porch enjoying my coffee while watching the sun rise over the trees. The clean and spacious room allowed me to keep my gear organized after long hiking trips.

It wasn't exactly cheap for what it offered , but still acceptable.

I found the Half Way Motel in Essex a perfect base for exploring Glacier. The rooms were large, clean, and offered all the essentials like a microwave, mini fridge, and comfy beds. I enjoyed having a small table to relax at after a long day of hiking. Access to coffee and tea facilities was a nice touch. The location is ideal, just a 30-minute drive from both the East and West park entrances. The onsite store was really convenient for grabbing snacks or supplies. Despite these drawbacks, the overall value at around $55 a night was fantastic, and I appreciated the cute atmosphere created by the owners.
